Chantal Crawley
Associate Attorney
M. Chantal Crawley is an associate attorney with The Drake Law Firm, P.C. Chantal graduated from Bowdoin College, majoring in Classical Studies and minoring in Latin.
Chantal proceeded to Michigan State University College of Law. At Michigan State University College of Law, Chantal focused on indigenous law and policy, taking the Indigenous Law and Policy Center course and working as a research assistant for Matthew L.M. Fletcher. Chantal was also the animal articles editor for the Journal of Animal and Natural Resources Law. Chantal graduated with a certificate in Indigenous Law and Policy.
Chantal followed her J.D. with obtaining an L.L.M. in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School, now known as Vermont Law and Graduate School.
Prior to joining The Drake Law Firm, P.C., Chantal worked as an immigration attorney for five years followed by working for a national domestic relations firm focusing on the representation of dads going through divorce and custody proceedings. Through that work, Chantal gained extensive experience litigating high net worth cases and contentious child custody cases. Chantal works hard to settle cases through mediation and informal settlement, but will prepare for all levels of the case as if the case is going to trial or an appeal. Chantal was formerly a senior appeals attorney working on appeals at the Texas Appellate Courts, New Hampshire Supreme Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, co-counseling at the First Circuit Court of Appeals, co-counseling at the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and co-counseling with on cases in various other states as needed on domestic relations matters.
Chantal is licensed as an actively practicing attorney in Colorado and is licensed as an inactive practicing attorney New Hampshire, Virginia, and Texas.
Outside of the office, Chantal enjoys spending time with young family, travelling, hiking, kayaking, volunteering with the Daughters of the American Revolution, and cheering on the Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox.
