Brandon Richardson
Associate Attorney
Brandon Richardson is an associate attorney at The Drake Law Firm, P.C., bringing a strong academic background and practical legal experience to his family law practice. He graduated with honors from Colorado State University, earning a degree in Political Science with a dual minor in Business Administration and Legal Studies.
Following in the footsteps of his stepfather, Brandon pursued his law degree at The University of Tulsa College of Law. During law school, he gained hands-on experience working at an immigration law clinic, where he assisted detained immigrants at the David L. Moss jail with their immigration status. This work instilled in him a deep sense of empathy, which now informs his approach to family law cases.
Brandon is well-versed in all aspects of family law, including custody, support, asset and debt division, prenuptial agreements, name changes, and paternity. He has successfully litigated cases involving divorce (with and without children), common law marriage, the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), parental rights as a psychological parent, child custody, protection orders, and more.
Outside the office, Brandon is an outdoor enthusiast, spending his free time skiing, snowboarding, backpacking, and hiking. He is also a passionate Colorado Avalanche fan.
